FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between CT and MRI?

CT uses X-rays and is often better for bones, lungs, vessels and contrast-enhanced organ imaging. MRI uses a magnetic field and is often better for soft tissues, brain, spine, joints and ligaments.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

It is recommended to have a referral or previous examinations. If you are unsure, our administrator will clarify the request and tell you what information to prepare.

How should I prepare?

Preparation depends on the body area and whether contrast is needed. During scheduling we will explain what to bring and what restrictions to follow.

When will I receive the results?

Timing depends on examination complexity. In most cases, results are prepared the same day or within 24 hours.
